St. Vincent 1st graders kick off Valentine's Day

Juniper Residents were delighted to host 48 first graders from St. Vincent Martyr School. After performing an enthusiastic medley of songs, the children introduced themselves, visited with each resident and distributed homemade Valentines. They encouraged interaction by asking the residents to assist with crossword puzzles. What a delight!

The Holidays

T'was a few nights before Christmas and all through the Juniper
house, not a resident was stirring not even a grouse. The decorations were in place, the tables were set, the only thing missing were the residents and guests. The clock hit 6, the carolers appeared, now everyone was happy cause the gang was all here.

Oak Knoll Students Celebrate The Holidays

The holidays came to life with a wonderful performance by the Oak Knoll Choral Ensemble. The ensemble was the most elite vocal group from the school, and they looked lovely in their elegant attire. The students regaled the residents with holiday favorites, and the residents enjoyed chatting with these young ladies as refreshments were served.

Juniper Village Food Drive Nets 500 Pounds of Food!

In November, Juniper Village at Chatham held its annual food drive. Not only did we collect a record setting 500 lbs. of food for the Interfaith Food Pantry, we collected clothing donations for the
victims of Hurricane Sandy. Pictured here are our Resident Ambassadors, who proudly assisted in the collection.

Giraffe Awards 2012

Juniper's annual Giraffe Award ceremony, helmed by our own Lynne Katzman, honored staff members from each department. Diane Coral,
Paul Malgapeur, Bonni McCoy, and Frantz Raymond were recognized for characteristics they share with the giraffe: big hearts and necks wont
to "stick out" to help those in need. Our dining room was filled with good cheer as residents and staff enjoyed delicious red velvet cake and raised glasses of sparkling beverages in toast to a few of
the special people who make life at Juniper a whole lot sweeter.

Thanksgiving Day Feast

Juniper Residents celebrated their Thanksgiving Day Feast with friends and family. Even the Pilgrims would have been proud. The table was lavishly filled with gourmet delights prepared by our chef extraordinaire Frank. Everyone slept well that night with bellies full of Thanksgiving blessings.
