Thomas Jefferson visits Juniper Village

He was the Third President, but the Sage of Monticello would rather be remembered as scientist, farmer, inventor, architect, and author of the Declaration of Independence. Our  residents, along with the community, were treated to a performance by Peter Small impersonating Thomas Jefferson.

Senior Luncheon and Spring Concert

The residents of Jniper Village were treated to an wonderful luncheon and concert presented by the children of Southern Blvd. Elementary School. Our lunch started with the principal welcoming Juniper residents and he gave us some history about the school. We had 10 third graders who sat and ate with us while providing us with
interesting tidbits of their school life. We were then escorted into the gymnasium where the concert began with chimers playing beautiful
tunes followed by voilin players and then the choir. It was truly a fantastic day.

Cherry Blossoms in Full Bloom

Residents boarded the Juniper Bus on April 15th, Tax day, and headed to Branch Brook Park in Newark, NJ to escape any income tax blues.
Instead, they were delighted to see the pink colors of Branch Brook park in full bloom at the countries second best Cherry blossom display, only second to Washington D.C. It was spectacular and the weather was great.  The residents enjoyed a picnic lunch; a fun time was had by all.

12th Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Ready, Set, Go, and the kids were off. With baskets
in hand, they set off on the mission of gathering the most eggs so they could not only have the treats  inside, but the winner, who collected the most eggs, would win a prize. Residents and parents were delighted by the sight of the children. After the hunt the children played games and enjoyed refreshments with the families. We're still not sure who had more fun, the residents or Children. Happy Easter!
